The primary goal of learning a language is communication, which is inherently a social activity. To learn French effectively, students need to see themselves as social participants communicating for real purposes. To reach their potential, they must actively listen and observe, seek out French in daily life, and use and reuse the language in meaningful contexts.<\/p>

A key concept in second language acquisition is \u201ccomprehensible input\u201d. This ensures that the language students receive is understandable, connecting input to the student, text, and environment. Repetition and review also make input more comprehensible. Teachers guide students in using this input to enhance their understanding and use of French.<\/p>

In Q-learning\u2019s French courses, interaction is central. Teachers encourage students to explore different cultures and apply their learning to personal behavior, cultural traditions, and beliefs, fostering intercultural awareness. Second language learners also engage in daily critical and creative thinking exercises.
