Ms. Angie Zhang

Q-Learning Academy – Chinese Teacher

Ms. Angie Zhang is passionate about education and the arts, with teaching and internship experience in several public schools across Canada. She is well-versed in both elementary and secondary education systems and understands students’ learning characteristics. Over the years, she has assisted in curriculum design and classroom teaching across multiple subjects, including mathematics, language and literacy, science, and art. She excels in using inquiry-based and interactive teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes, while skillfully adapting her instruction to meet the diverse needs of students at different levels.

During her teaching experience at Churchill Public School and Northelea Elementary and Middle School in Toronto, Ms. Anxin Zhang actively participated in curriculum planning and instructional activities, assisted in implementing STEM programs, and took part in parent-teacher conferences to strengthen home–school collaboration. Through innovative teaching methods and effective classroom management, she fostered a positive, inclusive, and well-structured learning environment. She also encouraged students to develop good study and life habits, cultivating a sense of responsibility and personal growth.

Ms. Zhang also served as an English Teaching Assistant at Wuhan Economic Development International School in China, where she led English and physical education classes and organized various extracurricular activities to enhance students’ language proficiency and teamwork skills. She guided students in completing summer project presentations, earning first place in the exhibition. In addition, she taught creative arts courses at Forest Run Elementary School, inspiring students to explore their artistic potential and expressiveness.
