About Q-Learning Institute

Our Philosophy| Blending East and West · Nurturing Together

Founded in 2008 by Mr. Xiangguo Li, Q-Learning Institute has been dedicated to promoting Chinese civilization while bridging Eastern and Western cultures. Now in its 18th year, it has become a trusted and respected name in the local Chinese community’s education sector. We strive to create a comprehensive private education platform that combines the strengths of Eastern and Western teaching methods, focusing on students’ holistic growth.

We uphold the core belief of “Quality Education First, Partnership Between School and Family”, and have established a rigorous three-step teacher selection process — résumé screening, structured interview, and trial teaching with parent participation. All our faculty are either Ontario-certified teachers or highly experienced educators from China and abroad.

Campus Facilities|Multi-functional · High Standards

Our 3,600-square-foot campus features over 10 specialized classrooms, including an art studio, dance rehearsal hall, robotics and programming lab, music rooms, and a science exploration lab — providing the space and resources needed for diverse courses and project-based learning.

Achievements|Excellence in Math & Chinese

Q-Learning Institute has served for many years as an official test center for the University of Waterloo Math Competitions and Mathematica Contests. Our students have consistently earned top 10% and top 5% honors in Ontario respectively. In Chinese language education, our students have achieved remarkable results, winning provincial and national awards in competitions such as the Panda Cup Essay Contest and the Three Constants Knowledge Competition.

Accreditations|Certified School & Recognized Excellence

In 2014, we were officially approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education as a registered private credit-granting school, authorized to admit international students. Over the years, we have received multiple commendations and letters of appreciation from the Canadian federal, provincial, and municipal governments, as well as the Chinese Consulate-General in Toronto.
